126 camera frame modifications?
This could be the completion of an earlier posting attempt which my
computer (and its operator) may have fouled up.
Here's the relevant question: Since the frame advance holes in 35mm
film stop the film advance in 126 before a full advance to the next
full 126 frame, can the camera's frame window not be reduced in width
on SOME CAMERAS so that the advance fits right? I believe that there
are some 126 cameras where the advance stroke skips over some of the
35mm perfs looking for the 126 perf. Therefore narrowing the camera's
window might give a vertical oriented shot (like most half-frame
cameras) but work with a single stroke of the advance lever? Any info
out there? Help?!?!?
